Sailing yacht — the classic. A monohull of 40–55 feet accommodates 6–10 guests. Quiet progress at 6–8 knots, the sound of sails, no engine vibration. Perfect for those who value the experience of sailing for its own sake. From 25,000 THB per full day.

Catamaran — maximum stability. Twin hulls reduce lateral roll; significantly more deck space for dining, sunbathing and socialising. Popular for wedding charters and family trips with children. From 35,000 THB per day.

Motor yacht — speed and luxury. Powerful engines allow multiple islands in a single day: Ko Tao, the Ang Thong archipelago and back for sunset. Often features an air-conditioned saloon, cabins, a bar and a swim platform. From 50,000 THB per day.

Superyacht — for occasions when only the best will do. Vessels of 60–100+ feet with a personal chef, diving equipment, jet-skis and sleeping cabins for overnight stays. Available seasonally from Koh Samui.

Where to Go: Routes

Ang Thong Archipelago — a 42-island marine park. The emerald Thale Nai lake, white beaches, corals along submerged rock walls. About 1.5–2 hours from Nathon on a motor yacht. The most scenic route available from Koh Samui.

Ko Tao — the best diving and snorkelling conditions in the entire region. Visibility up to 20–30 m, sea turtles, nurse sharks and diverse coral structures. Approximately 2.5 hours from Koh Samui by yacht.

Ko Pha-ngan — Koh Samui's nearest neighbour. 45–60 minutes under sail brings you to the deserted beaches of the island's north or the scenic Thong Sala bay. A popular option for a day trip with lunch at anchor.

Sunset cruise along Koh Samui — the western shore and a two-hour passage around the cape. The sun sets directly ahead, the sky shifting from gold to crimson. Champagne, sashimi or Thai canapés are the standard programme for a romantic evening.
