Professional Buoyancy Diver NDL Course Diving

The course consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part covers the rules for selecting and distributing weights. The practical part contains a set of exercises in the water needed to achieve instructor-level buoyancy skills.

Description

Very often, after finishing the entry-level course our graduates continue their training, improving their skills and acquiring specialities.
Our office is located in a convenient, easy-to-reach place. Diving classes are held in a spacious, bright, well-equipped classroom.

NDL is the first and only Russian training system certified by the EUF (European Underwater Federation) to the international EN and ISO standards. At our school (or rather, our partners' school) classes are held for all training programmes of this system.

Within the Professional Buoyancy Diver NDL course divers refine their skills of establishing and maintaining neutral buoyancy, including in non-standard situations. For example, they master exercises in removing and donning the weight belt and BCD while hovering in mid-water, and not only while swimming, as in the DIVER NDL course.

Typically, a beginner diver who has completed the entry-level course faces problems of buoyancy-control errors, rapid fatigue, poor body position underwater and, as a consequence of all this, fast air consumption. Apart from comfort underwater and air economy, neutral buoyancy helps a diver leave the underwater environment untouched.

Generally, any underwater activity requires perfectly neutral buoyancy, otherwise rest turns into hard labour. Perfect buoyancy will also be essential if you want to take up something specialised underwater — say, underwater photo or video shooting, navigation, night or deep dives, etc. Even the best and most professional photographer cannot take a single shot without perfect buoyancy. Take the Professional Buoyancy Diver NDL course and learn to control your buoyancy like a professional!

The Professional Buoyancy Diver NDL qualification allows you to:
- Use your air economically during a dive,
- Get less tired while diving,
- Feel more confident underwater when doing photo and video shooting or exploring objects,
- Move up the NDL hierarchy, gaining more advanced qualifications.

The course consists of theoretical and practical parts.

The theoretical part covers the rules for selecting and distributing weights.
The practical part contains a set of exercises in the water needed to achieve instructor-level buoyancy skills (up to 6 dives).

Entry requirements:
The student must hold a DIVER NDL certification or equivalent and provide a medical clearance for scuba diving (where required by the laws of the country). An equivalent rating means the student has the entry-level skills of any training organisation and is able to perform the skills of an NDL diver.

The minimum age for enrolment in the PROFESSIONAL BUOYANCY DIVER NDL course is 15 years. For children aged 10-14 there is the NDL Junior Professional Buoyancy Diver programme.
