Universal Diver NDL Course Diving

The course consists of mastering the skills of three NDL specialities (deep dives, night dives and underwater navigation — 5 dives in total), fosters interest in diving and lets you build dive experience. The course consists of theoretical and practical parts.

Description

Very often, after finishing the entry-level course our graduates continue their training, improving their skills and acquiring specialities.
Our office is located in a convenient, easy-to-reach place. Diving classes are held in a spacious, bright, well-equipped classroom.

NDL is the first and only Russian training system certified by the EUF (European Underwater Federation) to the international EN and ISO standards. At our school (or rather, our partners' school) classes are held for all training programmes of this system.

The Universal Diver NDL course consists of mastering the skills of three NDL specialities (deep dives, night dives and underwater navigation), fosters interest in diving and lets you build dive experience. The course consists of theoretical and practical parts.

The theoretical part contains additional knowledge of oceanology and underwater navigation. Minimum number of theory sessions — 3.
The practical part contains a set of exercises in the water needed to acquire underwater navigation skills — both in daytime and at night — as well as safe diving to depths beyond 18 metres.
Minimum number of open-water dives — 5.

The Universal Diver qualification allows you to:
- Dive safely with a buddy to depths of more than 18 metres (up to 40 metres).
- Dive safely with a buddy at night.
- Significantly improve your underwater navigation efficiency.
- Move up the NDL hierarchy, gaining more advanced qualifications.

Entry requirements:
To enrol in the UNIVERSAL DIVER NDL course, the student must:
- Hold a Diver NDL certification or an equivalent. "Equivalent" means the diver has proof of entry-level dive training, at least four open-water dives, and is able to perform the skills of the DIVER NDL level.
- Be at least 12 years old.
- Divers aged 12 to 14 can obtain the Junior UNIVERSAL DIVER NDL certification.
The Junior Diver certification permits diving only when accompanied by a certified adult diver.
