Baan Tai is used to being one of the most beautiful but not so popular beaches in the North of Samui. The infrastructure is not that developed but expats see it as an advantage.
Baan tai is the Maenam’s light version with few houses, stores, cafes & restaurants, ATMs & scooter service centers. There is not much to do after sunsets, and if you choose this district, you should plan your fun at home or going out to the other district where you will need to go by a rented transport to.
