The start of the Maenam area, where banks, restaurants, cafes, car-service workshops, shops, and other useful places are concentrated, is the closest to the main hypermarkets in this part of the island. The coastline is taken up by hotels, but property sits beyond the Main road — between it and the sea. The location is advantageous, given the rent the owner asks.
Two houses stand on a normal Thai street leading to the sea. Both have their own lot, fenced with a sliding gate. There is no security, no CCTV, and the nearest neighbours are 300 metres to the east. The inner yard is covered with crushed gravel — which prevents mud during the rains and the growth of grass where local fauna like to hide.
The property is not the largest, but it is very cosily furnished and lived-in. The owner rents it for stays of three months or more and is opposed to tenants keeping animals, so the houses are clean and well-kept. The porch can be closed with a plastic curtain during the rain; the rooms are furnished; the kitchen is equipped with everything necessary, including a set of dishes for several people. An excellent option for wintering or long-term rent for one or two people.
