The property — a house in a small complex set in a valley in the southern part of the Lamai area, surrounded by jungle on three sides. The complex has its own grounds with green lawns, well suited to a quiet family stay with children of any age. It is very quiet here, about 500 metres from the nearest road.
Lamai beach is within walking distance and is considered by locals one of the best on the island, thanks to its long, wide shoreline and an easy entry into the sea over clean sand with no rocks. The same area has plenty of bars and restaurants open late, pharmacies, mini-marts, massage parlours and souvenir shops; Family Mart and 7-Eleven are 5 minutes away. Five minutes by car is the Tesco Lotus mall with a supermarket, food court, children's play area, cafés, boutiques, electronics shops and currency exchange; nearby is a traditional Thai market with seafood, fruit, greens and ready meals, and the Coco Splash water park is close by. Bed linen and towel changes are on request; water, electricity and cleaning are billed separately.
