Mike’s house is located 2 km from the beach of Maenam in the foothills of the lush tropical forests. Houses are located in a well-kept garden around a small common pool. Next to the pool is a BBQ area for the residents. In total there are 10 houses, they are well spaced out so that people do not interfere with each other. There is also a bar - restaurant with a reasonably priced menu of Thai and western food and drinks. New pool table is free for guests.
It is a quiet and cozy place with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Mike’s bar often gathers his friends for a chat and you can spend an evening or two learning the art of playing billiards.
The houses are built in European-style, with a good layout, but are not new and a close look may reveal scuffs on furniture or imperfect tile in bathrooms.
To get to the sea and Maenam beach infrastructure on foot you need 30 to 40 minutes. Or 5 min on transport. It is recommended to rent a motorbike or a car while living here.
