, which means "house, looking at the Buddha," is an authentic teak villa. On the island of Samui and beyond these properties have become a symbol of Thai elegance.
The villa was built using traditional construction techniques of Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Siam. occupies a superb position on the hill, where you can enjoy the impeccable views of the northeast coast of Samui, the other islands. In the center of it all - the famous statue of Big Buddha, which became the occasion for the name of the villa.
Designed specifically so that the villa would be a great home for during the whole year, not only on holidays and vacations. Thus, the owners picked up a lot of antique and decorative objects, which makes the villa unique and somewhat symbolic. It works for the owner, and for the privileged guests.
The impressive entrance gate and long stone driveway leads down to the villa through about 4800 square meters of lush private gardens, with hidden ponds, streams, waterfalls and lots of tropical plants, trees and flowers.
The first and the largest of the five interconnected pavilions that make up the villa, has a "floating" roof structure, which is supported by 16 wooden pillars in the old style. It can be reached by a covered bridge, ornamental avenue through a lily pond. In the hall you will find a luxurious dining room / living room opening onto a large covered terrace - perfect for everyday dining and entertainment! Moreover, it offers a gorgeous view of mountains, sea, Big Buddha statue, and in addition the swimming pool.
The remaining four pavilions are located at the corners of the villa, each is accessible from the living room. The three pavilions are luxurious bedrooms (two - with double beds, one - with a twin). All beds are with canopy, the interior combines traditional Thai style and western comfort (air conditioners, adjacent to the bedrooms with en-suite rooms are hygienic and isolated showers.) In the master's bedroom there is your own spacious walk-in closet, ocean view and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi.
In every room there are carved teak panels, doors and a real antique furniture - either from Thailand or from Burma. Here is also used the best Thai silk and cotton. In the fourth hall you will find the owner's private office and an additional bathroom. Guests here can not be allowed.
The first level has the fourth bedroom (for two people). The decor is more modern, also has all the amenities, so that the room is ideal for children or just younger guests. On the same level there is a fully equipped modern kitchen, as well as hidden rooms for the staff and a laundry.
Guests can get to the pool from the front garden or from the upper terrace, or from the covered veranda on the first level. On a wooden deck around the pool there are sunbathing couches.
Especially for those who care about privacy, is equipped with electrical protection systems which is a true work of art and technology. There is also a backup generator, and a substantial supply of water. The villa is fully serviced by a team of four employees who perform their duties quietly and come to help the guests on the first call. Manager of the villa is also a well-known Thai chef, and she will be happy to make something out of a grand assortment of dishes for those who wish to discover the culinary culture of Thailand.
All agree, that the time spent in evokes so many feelings: the unique flavor of an old ticks at the entrance to the main pavilion and the soothing sound of water from fountains, streams and waterfalls, filling the whole of the villa - all this is fueling an overwhelming sense of spiritual balance.
